Joe Heyd, CPA
As a certified public accountant (CPA) native to Myrtle Beach, Joe completed his undergraduate work in accounting and business administration at Southern Wesleyan University in the upstate of South Carolina. He continued his educational pursuits by receiving a master’s degree in Professional Accountancy from Clemson University. Joe’s professional experience includes auditing for the South Carolina Department of Revenue, financial planning and analysis for CenturyLink (a Fortune 500 company), controllership for Horry County Disabilities and Special Needs, and audit and assurance work for Smith Sapp, PA. During his six years at Smith Sapp, PA Joe supervised engagements that included non-profits, closely held corporations, municipalities, and public utilities.
